Job Description:
Senior React Developer Contract Length: 3 months Rate: 500-550 p/d Inside IR35
Overview We are seeking a highly skilled engineer with deep expertise in React and Single Sign-On (SSO) implementations, particularly Okta. The successful candidate will combine strong front-end development skills with proven experience in authentication and identity management.
Key Responsibilities * Modernize and refactor an existing Fix UI application:
* Update outdated codebase to current React standards.
* Improve maintainability and performance.
* Implement multi-tenant architecture within the UI.
* Integrate the application with SSO solutions, ensuring flexibility to connect with:
* OAuth / OpenID Connect
* SAML
* Okta (primary client requirement).
* Deliver clean, scalable, and secure code aligned with best practices.
* Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth integration and deployment.
Essential Skills & Experience * Expert-level React development (hooks, state management, modern patterns).
* Strong background in SSO implementation and identity protocols.
* Hands-on experience with Okta integration.
* Knowledge of OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, and SAML.
* Experience building multi-tenant applications.
* Ability to refactor and modernize legacy codebases.
Nice-to-Have * Familiarity with other identity providers (Azure AD, Auth0, Ping Identity).
* Experience in secure coding practices and compliance frameworks.
* Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
