Description
*Manage a portfolio of private clients, ensuring their tax affairs are compliant and up to date.
*Advise clients on tax planning opportunities and strategies to optimise their tax position.
*Prepare and review self-assessment tax returns for a variety of clients.
*Assist in handling HMRC enquiries and resolving tax-related issues efficiently.
*Support the team with technical tax research and provide updates on legislative changes.
*Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor.
*Work closely with other departments to provide a seamless service to clients.
*Contribute to the development and training of junior team members.
Profile
A successful Private Client Tax Senior should have:
*Relevant professional tax qualifications such as ATT or CTA, or equivalent experience.
*Strong knowledge of UK tax legislation and its application to private clients.
*Proven experience in managing a portfolio of private tax clients.
*Attention to detail and the ability to deliver accurate, high-quality work.
*Excellent communication skills to engage with clients and colleagues effectively.
