Description
*Prepare financial statements and reports in compliance with relevant regulations.
*Conduct audits for a diverse client portfolio, ensuring accuracy and adherence to standards.
*Assist in the planning and execution of audit engagements.
*Provide support to junior team members, offering guidance and mentorship.
*Handle client queries and maintain strong client relationships.
*Ensure timely completion of accounting and auditing tasks to meet deadlines.
*Identify and resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities.
*Collaborate with the wider team to deliver exceptional professional services.
*The role will be a split of circa 70% audit and 30% accounts work.
Profile
A successful Accounts and Audit Senior should have:
*A relevant qualification in accounting or finance, such as ACCA or ACA.
*Experience in preparing financial statements and conducting audits.
*Strong knowledge of accounting principles and auditing standards.
*Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
*Effective communication skills for liaising with clients and team members.
*Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications.
