Job Description:
Business Support Officer (BSO)
*Hourly Rate: £13.26 PAYE
*Location: Barnsley, S70
*Job Type: Temporary, Hybrid
We are seeking a Business Support Officer (BSO) with experience in children’s services. The ideal candidate will be skilled in administrative tasks, including minute writing, agenda management, and data inputting. This role requires strong IT skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Day-to-day of the role:
*Write high-quality minutes and distribute them promptly.
*Manage meeting agendas and send out invites.
*Maintain and update spreadsheets and action logs accurately.
*Perform data inputting tasks with high attention to detail.
*Utilise IT skills effectively, including proficiency in AI, SharePoint, and Excel.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Proven experience as a Business Support Officer, preferably in children’s services.
*Strong ability to write clear and concise minutes.
*Excellent organisational skills for managing agendas and meeting invites.
*Proficient in managing spreadsheets and action logs.
*Competent in data inputting with a focus on accuracy.
*Good IT skills, including AI, SharePoint, and Excel.
