Gloucestershire County Council, is seeking two agency Social Workers for its adult social care Locality Team.
These roles will last 3 months initially, based at Shire Hall in Gloucester city centre and paid at £35 umbrella.
There is also up to £150 per week accommodation/mileage weekly allowance (Ts & Cs apply).
The role will involve the following:
*Our Social Workers must be able to listen hard to the people of Gloucestershire, to understand what really matters and to connect them to resources that help them continue with their chosen life, either with support or independently.
*You will also be working with individuals to help them to regain control of their lives in a crisis.
*We use the Three Conversation approach, a model that re-emphasises focus on people, their strengths and the networks and community around them.
*£150 Accommodation / mileage weekly allowance
*Capped caseloads at 25
*Guaranteed minimum 3-month placement (subject to renewal)
*Dedicated support with regular supervision and guidance from line management.
*Remote / agile working: Localities - first 2 weeks in the office for a robust induction; thereafter a maximum 2/3 days per week in Gloucestershire to undertake visits / meetings / supervision

Requirements of the role:
*Qualified Social Worker
*Fully Social Work England registered
*Have experience working within Adult Social Care, including working in a multi-agency and court environment
*Have knowledge and understanding of the legislation, models, and theories relevant to Adult Social Work
*Hold a valid UK driving licence and have access to a car (exceptions may apply under the Equality Act)
