We are seeking an experienced Quality Inspector (Civils) to support a major nuclear infrastructure project in Reading. This role is suited to candidates with strong civils inspection experience, proven quality assurance capability, and the ability to work within a highly regulated environment. The position offers a long-term contract, competitive LTD rates, and mileage expenses for those travelling from further afield.
Contract Details
* Duration: 12 months

* Rate: £45-£58 p/h (LTD)

* Location: Reading

* Expenses: Mileage paid for candidates 50+ miles from site

* Clearance: SC Clearance (or above) required

Requirements
* Experience in a quality-focused role on major infrastructure/civils projects (nuclear experience advantageous).

* Ability to read, interpret, and work against detailed design drawings.

* Strong background in on-site inspections against approved designs.

* CSCS card essential.

* Proficient with MS Office applications.

Key Responsibilities
* Review and acceptance of procedures and documentation in line with QC1 requirements.

* Undertake QC inspections in accordance with approved Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs).

* Ongoing review and final acceptance of Lifetime Records (LTRs).

* Witness testing and carry out on-site inspections.

* Participate in required project, coordination, and quality meetings.
