Elevation is partnering with a well-established manufacturing organisation with multiple sites across the UK and Europe. The business has invested heavily in equipment, systems and capability, and is now focused on driving consistency and performance across its operational network. They are now looking to appoint a European Operations Director to lead this next phase of operational development.
The Role
* Provide leadership across several manufacturing sites in the UK and mainland Europe

* Shape and deliver the operational strategy to support commercial and growth objectives

* Lead Site Directors and operational teams, setting clear priorities and maintaining accountability for performance

* Drive improvements in cost, quality, safety and delivery through standardised processes and continuous improvement activity

* Ensure operational readiness and strong performance standards across all facilities

* Oversee capital investment planning to align with future capacity and capability requirements

The Person
* Proven senior operations leader with experience managing multiple manufacturing sites across multiple countries - essential experience

* Strong understanding of lean and continuous improvement principles, with a record of delivering measurable results

* Clear, confident communicator who leads visibly and sets high standards

* Commercially aware with strong insight into cost drivers and the operational levers that impact the P and L

* Willing to travel regularly across the European site network

* Experience in a manufacturing business producing engineered, industrial or technical products would be beneficial, ideally in sectors such as industrial components
