RG Consultancy are delighted to be supporting an excellent well-established and growing company who are looking to add a Management Accountant to their Preston based finance team.
Reporting to and supporting the Financial Controller this Management Accountant role will be responsible for the delivery of timely, accurate and insightful financial information.
Duties include:
*Assist Financial Controller with production of management accounts
*Month end balance sheet reconciliations, accruals and prepayments
*Provide commentary and analysis of any variances
*VAT returns
*Assist with external audits
*Identify and support on any process improvements
*Ad hoc financial reporting, analysis and projects as required
*Oversee transactional finance processes, supervising a small team of Finance Assistants
This Management Accountant role is ideal for someone who is used to overseeing more junior team and has a good knowledge of month-end processes.
