Our client is seeking a Finance Analyst to support commercial decision-making, deliver high-quality financial insight, and play a key role in budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven analyst looking to develop their career within a collaborative and high-performing finance team.
* Location: Birmingham
* Position: Finance Analyst
* Full-Time
* Salary: £45,000 to £55,000 per annum
Key responsibilities of the Finance Analyst:
* Prepare monthly financial reports and performance dashboards.
* Support budgeting and forecasting cycles, including variance analysis and commentary.
* Provide financial modelling to support strategic initiatives and key business decisions.
* Partner with operational teams to identify risks, opportunities, and cost efficiencies.
* Analyse financial and operational data to provide meaningful insight and trend analysis.
* Assist with month-end processes, including accruals, journals, and reconciliations.
* Support continuous improvement of financial planning tools and reporting processes.
* Present financial analysis to senior stakeholders in a clear and compelling manner.
Key essentials of the Finance Analyst:
* Fully qualified CIMA / ACCA / ACA, or equivalent finance qualification
* Strong analytical skills with proven experience in financial modelling and data analysis
* Advanced Excel skills
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders
