Commercial Property Associate – Birmingham
Our client, an extremely well-established legal firm with over 260 years of history, is seeking an experienced Senior Solicitor or CILEX (minimum 8 years’ PQE) to join its Commercial Property Team as a Senior Associate or Salaried Partner.
This is a senior opportunity for a driven Lawyer who wants to lead, develop and grow a successful department within a respected and progressive firm.
The Role:
Manage a broad and varied caseload of commercial property transactions, including:
*Drafting, negotiating and completing leases, licences and agreements for lease
*Acting for SMEs, lenders and receivers on property purchases, sales and finance arrangements
*Advising on property transactions arising from insolvency and corporate deals
*Conducting due diligence and providing strategic advice on acquisitions and disposals
*Drafting and reviewing contracts, auction packs and security documentation
*Collaborate closely with the corporate team on integrated property matters
*Supervise and mentor junior members of the commercial property team
*Build and maintain strong client relationships and uphold high standards of client care
*Drive business development and networking initiatives to support departmental growth
*Contribute to firm-wide strategic projects and assist with Legal 500 submissions
About You:
*Minimum 8 years’ PQE in commercial property law
*Strong technical expertise and proven experience handling complex transactions
*Excellent communication, client care and team leadership skills
*Confident working independently and supporting junior colleagues
*Proactive and business-focused, with a passion for developing both people and services
