Job Description:
We’re currently recruiting for a Business Support Officer to join a busy team based in Solihull area on a temporary basis.
This role provides essential administrative support to social work professionals, helping them focus on delivering vital services to children, young people, and families.
Key Responsibilities of the Business Support Officer role Include: *Provide comprehensive administrative and data support to the team.
*Manage diaries, arrange meetings, and coordinate venues.
*Act as the first point of contact for incoming enquiries, dealing sensitively with families and professionals.
*Maintain accurate electronic records and case files.
*Track key information and performance data to ensure data quality.
*Take and transcribe accurate minutes for large and complex meetings.
*Support colleagues and occasionally assist with supervision or training.
To be considered for the Business Support Officer role: *Strong administrative background with excellent attention to detail.
*Confident using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
*Able to manage a busy workload and meet tight deadlines.
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
*Experience handling confidential information and working with discretion.
*GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths required; NVQ Level 2 in Business Administration desirable.
This role requires excellent organisational skills and a proactive approach. You’ll be joining a supportive, professional team making a real difference in the community.

*Location: Solihull (some travel across the borough may be required)
*Rate: £13.90 per hour
*Hours: Full-time, Mon-Fri, 9am-5pm, temporary assignment
