Laboratory Supervisor
Dartford, Kent
Full time & permanent role with a rotating shift pattern

Reed Scientific are partnering with a leading agribusiness and are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Laboratory Supervisor to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of a busy laboratory. This role is critical to maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
*Oversee the continuous running of the laboratory to prevent process interruptions.
*Maintain accurate records, high housekeeping standards, and compliance with Good Laboratory Practice (GLP).
*Perform routine equipment checks, maintenance, and troubleshooting to ensure fitness for purpose.
*Develop and deliver training programs for Laboratory Technicians.
*Ensure all work is conducted safely and in accordance with company policies.
*Conduct laboratory audits and implement corrective actions as needed.
*Manage stock control, purchase requisitions, and consumable inventory.
*Lead method development, validation, and documentation updates.
Skills and Experience required
*Chemistry degree or equivalent qualification.
*Minimum 3 years’ laboratory experience, ideally in an accredited lab
*Experience in method development and validation.
*Knowledge of laboratory maintenance and hands-on experience with GC, ICP, and HPLC systems.
