English Teacher - Bracknell
*Temporary - Full Time (Starting January)
*Location: Bracknell Forest
*Salary: MPS1 to UPS3
We are seeking an English Teacher to join a lovely school in Bracknell Forest starting in January.
This temporary position is ideal for both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) who are passionate about teaching English to KS3 and KS4 students.
The school offers a supportive and inclusive community with a strong focus on pastoral care and staff development.
The English department boasts a strong team with improving results, providing an excellent environment for both teaching and professional growth.
Day-to-day of the role:
*Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging English lessons to KS3 and KS4 students.
*Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback to support their academic and personal development.
*Create a positive, stimulating classroom environment that promotes student engagement and learning.
*Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum materials and share best teaching practices.
*Participate in school meetings and events, and contribute to the school’s culture of respect, ambition, resilience, and pride.
*Support the pastoral needs of students, helping to develop their confidence and abilities.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
*Experience teaching English at KS3 and KS4 levels.
*Strong understanding of the current curriculum and teaching methods.
*Ability to engage and inspire students of varying abilities.
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
*Commitment to professional development and continuous learning.
*ECTs are encouraged to apply.
