Our client, a well-established firm within the food import and distribution industry, based in the Cheltenham area, has an exciting new opportunity for a part-time Warehouse Operative to join their team on an ad-hoc, ongoing basis due to increased demand.
The successful Warehouse Operative should have:
*The ability to carry out physically demanding work, including lifting items between 10kg–25kg
*A reliable, flexible approach to working on an "as and when required" basis
*Strong attention to detail when labelling and organising stock
*A willingness to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment
*Appropriate PPE including steel toe-capped boots and suitable workwear
In this role, the Warehouse Operative will be responsible for:
*Handballing stock from lorries and containers
*Placing stock into boxes accurately and efficiently
*Ensuring all boxes are correctly labelled
*Maintaining a clean and organised work area
*Supporting general warehouse operations as required
