Sales Ledger Clerk
Location: Stockport
Pay Rate: £13.00 – £13.50 per hour
Contract: Temporary (12 weeks)
Start Date: ASAP
Working Pattern: 100% Office-Based
Potential: Opportunity to go permanent
About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented Sales Ledger Clerk to join a busy finance team in Stockport. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong organisational skills and a keen eye for accuracy to contribute to the smooth running of the accounts function.
Key Responsibilities
*Accurately process and maintain the sales ledger
*Raise invoices and credit notes
*Allocate payments and reconcile customer accounts
*Assist with credit control when required
*Support month-end reporting and audit preparation
*Respond to customer queries promptly and professionally
What We’re Looking For
*Strong communication and organisational skills
*High attention to detail and accuracy
*Ability to work independently and as part of a team
*Proficiency in MS Office
*Previous experience in a finance or sales ledger role
