Management Accountant
Salary: £45,000 – £55,000
Location: Manufacturing Business, North Leeds
A leading manufacturing business in North Leeds is seeking an experienced Management Accountant to join its finance team. This is a key role responsible for delivering accurate financial reporting, supporting decision-making, and managing a small team. You will also play a pivotal role in implementing a new finance system in March 2026.
Key Responsibilities:
*Financial accounting duties and compliance
*Preparation of monthly management accounts with variance analysis
*Business partnering with operational teams to provide financial insights
*Overseeing payroll and ensuring statutory compliance
*Managing and developing a team of two finance professionals
*Leading the transition from Sage to Odoo, including implementation and training
Skills & Experience:
*Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or equivalent experience
*Strong technical knowledge of financial and management accounting
*Proven experience in team management and mentoring
*Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
*Proficiency in Sage and exposure to system implementation projects (Odoo desirable)
*Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
