Payroll Administrator
Location: Dover
Hours:
*Monday to Thursday: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (30-minute break)
*Friday: 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM (no break)
Salary: Up to £30,000 per annum, depending on experience
Contract: Permanent
Parking: Free onsite parking available
Reed is recruiting on behalf of our client, a well-established organisation based in Dover, for a Payroll Administrator to join their team.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced payroll professional to play a key role in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing. You will work within the HR/Finance function, delivering operational excellence and compliance with statutory requirements.
Once fully trained and confident in the role, you will benefit from a hybrid working arrangement:
*Week 1: 3 days in the office
*Week 2: 2 days in the office
Key Responsibilities:
*Process the monthly payroll cycle accurately and on time using a cloud-based HRIS payroll system.
*Maintain up-to-date payroll records and ensure compliance with UK payroll regulations.
*Liaise with managers and external providers to resolve payroll queries promptly.
*Assist with payroll-related reporting, audits, and reconciliations.
*Contribute to process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Skills & Experience Required:
Essential:
*Strong experience in payroll administration and processing.
*Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
*Knowledge of UK payroll regulations and statutory deductions.
*Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
Desirable:
*Experience with Workday Payroll or similar HRIS systems.
*Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
*Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
