Location: Brighton
Contract Type: Full-time / Part-time
Salary: £14 - £20 per hour based on experience
Seeking a reliable, proactive, and friendly School Caretaker to help maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for pupils, staff, and visitors.
?? Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure the school premises are clean, secure, and well-maintained
* Carry out minor repairs and general maintenance tasks
* Support with setting up rooms for school events and activities
* Monitor heating, lighting, and alarm systems
* Liaise with contractors and report any major issues
* Promote health and safety across the site
?? About You:
* Practical, hands-on, and solution-focused
* Able to work independently and as part of a team
* Good communication and time management skills
* Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential
* Must be willing to undergo an enhanced DBS check
