Caretaker Wanted – Join Our Primary School Community!
Location: Brighton
Contract Type: Full-time / Part-time
Salary: £14 - £20 per hour based on experience
Seeking a reliable, proactive, and friendly School Caretaker to help maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for pupils, staff, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities:
*Ensure the school premises are clean, secure, and well-maintained
*Carry out minor repairs and general maintenance tasks
*Support with setting up rooms for school events and activities
*Monitor heating, lighting, and alarm systems
*Liaise with contractors and report any major issues
*Promote health and safety across the site
About You:
*Practical, hands-on, and solution-focused
*Able to work independently and as part of a team
*Good communication and time management skills
*Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential
*Must be willing to undergo an enhanced DBS check
