We are currently seeking a dynamic Part Time MFL French and Spanish Teacher to join a secondary school in Lancaster. This position is ideal for a candidate with a robust knowledge of the curriculum, effective communication skills, and a commitment to creating an engaging learning environment.
Day-to-day of the role:
*Deliver engaging and informative lessons in French and Spanish to students at KS3 and KS4 levels; teaching at KS5 would be an advantage.
*Utilize strong subject knowledge to inspire and motivate students.
*Maintain effective classroom management.
*Assess and record students’ progress and prepare them for examinations.
*Collaborate with other teaching staff to plan and coordinate lessons.
*Participate in school meetings and events.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Must have QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent.
*Recent relevant experience teaching French and Spanish at KS3 and KS4 is essential; experience at KS5 is advantageous.
*Excellent classroom practitioner with robust subject knowledge and classroom management skills.
*Reliable, committed, and capable of acting as a good role model for students.
*Good interpersonal skills, trustworthiness, punctuality, patience, and confidence when working with children.
