Role: Post Completions Clerk
Department: Residential Property
Salary: Depending on experience
Location: Thurrock
Hours: Monday – Friday 9am – 5:30pm
Start date: ASAP
Experience: Must have min 1 year experience in conveyancing ideally post completions.
Post Completions Clerk role
We are seeking a driven and organised Centralised Post Completions Clerk to join our friendly team based in Thurrock. This full-time role is ideal for someone with experience in post completions work who is looking to take the next step in their career.
Your main responsibilities will include managing post completion tasks for residential property transactions across the firm,
*Preparing and submitting Land Registry applications,
*Handling stamp duty submissions,
*Ensuring all requirements from mortgage lenders are met.
*You will also maintain accurate records,
*Update case management systems,
*Respond to queries from clients and third parties,
*Assist with general administrative duties as needed.
Key Tasks
*Prepare and submit SDLT, AP1 and FR1 applications to the Land Registry online portal
*Collate relevant accompanying documents for applications to Land Registry
*Ensure applications are submitted within the OS1 priority period and requisitions replied to before the cancellation date
*Ensure all communication / documentation is safely recorded and stored in the case management system and the paper file
*Collaborate with colleagues to ensure accurate registration is completed and co-ordinate responses to requisitions
*Ensure lender clients are fully updated on progress via the lender’s chosen method of communication (eg via lender portal, email, fax or letter)
*Ensure clients receive confirmation and documentation on completion of registration
Skills/Experience
*Sound knowledge of the conveyancing process and the requirements of Land Registry and lender portals
*Enjoy working methodically and accurately to deadlines
*Must be able to audio type
A can-do attitude and able to work with minimal supervision
