A fast-growing media business are seeking an experienced Senior Accounts Payable Clerk to join their Finance team on a temp to perm basis. Reporting to the Finance Director, you’ll lead our AP and banking processes, supported by an AP Specialist, and contribute to improving processes, controls and month-end accuracy.
What you’ll do
*Oversee all AP and banking processes, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices, credit notes, expenses and payments
*Set up new suppliers, resolve queries and manage cash/credit card expenses
*Run BACS and international payments, post transactions and reconcile bank accounts (Sage 200 Cloud)
*Support cash flow monitoring, month-end AP ageing reviews and cost accruals
*Strengthen AP controls, document procedures and support system/process improvements
What you’ll bring
*Proven experience in a senior AP role, ideally in a project-based environment with multi-currency exposure
*A track record of improving AP processes and reporting
*Experience with Sage 200 Cloud is a bonus
