Job Description:
This is a new role created due to ongoing company growth, selling Satellite and Cellular IoT solutions. The company have an excellent reputation and impressive customer base already which will give you a strong base from which to sell. Cutting edge technology, an agile and creative approach to customer solutions and customer excellence have created tremendous opportunity for ongoing growth, with lots more still to come within current clients but also expanding into other customers. This role has particular focus on Environmental Monitoring expansion.
The Role
This is a crucial role within the business, reporting to the Board. You will spearhead the expansion within the critical Environmental Monitoring Market (eg water quality, water levels and flow, air pollution, forestry, climate research). Some specific areas of focus as follows:
*Identify and nurture relationships, selling Satellite IoT solutions into the Environmental Monitoring sector
*Identify and pursue potential to expand within current accounts within the Group
*Identify and develop new opportunities, taking a strategic approach and then owning the whole sales cycle, which can be complex
*Serve as the technical-commercial interface, translating complex technological capabilities to both technical and non technical customer contacts
*Act as conduit between technical and product teams to ensure tailored IoT solutions customer requirements are met
*Represent the company at industry events, trade show, customer meetings etc
The Ideal Candidate
You will have a progressive sales/account management track record within a technology environment, able to understand complex customer needs and interact with technical people. Important would be career exposure within Satellite/ Cellular with some knowledge of IoT solutions. Not essential but ideal would be exposure to Environmental Monitoring, and if not exposure then you should certainly have an interest.
