Job Description:
I am delighted to working with a market leader on their search for a newly created management accountant. You will be reporting into a high performing Financial Controller.
Day to day duties will include:
*Preparation of monthly management accounts for various groups, ensuring deadlines are met.
*Maintenance of accurate profit and loss reporting to reflect business performance, alongside balance sheets that present a true financial position.
*Production of KPI reports and other management information each month, accompanied by clear narrative and analysis.
*Completion of monthly balance sheet reconciliations, with transparent explanation of reconciling items.
*Provision of variance analysis and commentary on financial trends to support management decision-making.
*Identification and escalation of potential financial and operational risks to senior stakeholders.
*Contribution to budgeting and forecasting processes. working with senior stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will be:
*Part qualified/finalist/newly qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA
*Proven experience producing monthly management accounts and reporting packs
*Solid background in budgeting, forecasting and performance tracking
*Experience leading or supporting year-end audits
*Advanced Excel skills
*Experience using BI tools (desirable)
*Proven ability to influence at senior level
