Sales Ledger / Credit Control Administrator

We are partnering with a long-standing, well-respected manufacturing business in the Loughton area who are seeking an organised and detail-driven Sales Ledger / Credit Control Administrator to join their finance team. Key Responsibilities*Managing the full sales ledger process, including raising invoices and allocating payments
*Chasing outstanding debt in a professional, measured manner
*Monitoring aged debt, escalating issues where necessary, and resolving queries promptly
*Reconciling customer accounts and ensuring accurate records are maintained
*Managing documentation including Bills of Laden, delivery notes, shipping paperwork, and PODs
*Liaising with internal teams and external customers to resolve discrepancies
*Producing regular debtor reports and assisting with month-end processes
*Supporting general admin within the finance function where required
Ideal Candidate*Previous experience in sales ledger, credit control, or a finance admin role
*Confident communicator with a calm, professional approach
*Strong attention to detail and able to manage workloads efficiently
*Comfortable working with shipping documentation, delivery notes, and logistics paperwork (training provided if needed)
*Good Excel and general IT skills
*Looking for a stable, long-term role within a friendly, established business
