Job Description:
Cleaner/Housekeeper
*Job Type: Temporary, Full-time
*Location: Central Park, Newton Heath
*Duration: 3 months (likely to extend)
*Pay: £13.40 PAYE
A Local Authority is seeking a dedicated Cleaner/Housekeeper to join their team in the North West Department. This role requires a candidate with prior cleaning experience in a medium to large scale organisation and a good understanding of the English language.
Day-to-day of the role:
*Perform various cleaning duties, including lifting, bending, walking, pushing, and handling equipment, ensuring all areas are tidy and sanitary.
*Adhere to health and safety standards, particularly around COSHH requirements and the safe use of equipment.
*Maintain a consistent and reliable attendance and performance record.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Previous cleaning experience in a medium to large scale organisation.
*Good understanding of the English language, both verbal and written.
*Physical fitness to perform cleaning tasks effectively.
*Knowledge of health and safety regulations, especially related to COSHH and equipment safety.
