Are you a recent school leaver looking to embark on a career within the accountancy sector? Reed are working with a firm of chartered accountants based in Central London looking to bring on board a recent school leaver, keen to learn and develop a career within accountancy.
The role will see you trained on bookkeeping, VAT and Accounts Preparation, whilst you will be supported in training towards a professional accountancy qualification, AAT/ ACCA.
This is the perfect opportunity for someone looking to get their foot into the door of the accountancy profession.
Also unique about this role is that you will be working alongside clients in the music & entertainment space, perfect for someone with a passion for all things music related.
Duties will include:
*Monthly Cash books
*Raise sales invoices relating to various live performances, recording advances & recharges.
*Input of all purchase & sales invoices onto Xero.
*Preparing payment transfers.
*Expense analysis.
*Journal entries.
*Prepare bank & credit card account applications.
*Filing post
*Download monthly bank statements
*Download monthly credit card statements and prepare analyses
