Warehouse Operative

About the Role:
The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse, including handling goods, maintaining stock accuracy, and operating forklifts safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
*Receive, unload, and store incoming goods accurately.
*Pick, pack, and prepare orders for dispatch.
*Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment in compliance with safety standards.
*Conduct regular stock checks and maintain inventory records.
*Ensure the warehouse is clean, organised, and compliant with health and safety regulations.
*Assist with loading and unloading vehicles.
*Report any damages, discrepancies, or safety hazards promptly.
Requirements:
*Valid Forklift Licence (Counterbalance and/or Reach Truck preferred).
*Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment.
*Ability to work in a fast-paced setting and meet deadlines.
*Good attention to detail and accuracy.
*Physically fit and able to lift heavy items when required.
*Strong communication and teamwork skills.
