Personnel Selection Recruitment is assisting one of our local clients based in Andover Hampshire with finding them a Part Time Production Operative. The working hours will be 7.30am to 12.30pm Monday to Friday, 25 hours total a week.
This is a temporary ongoing role until the end of January but highly likely to be extended. This position is available for an immediate start.
SKILLS REQUIRED AND JOB FUNCTION:
*Ideally have previous experience working in a production / assembly environment.
*Happy to undergo training.
*Numerate and literate.
*Able to follow instructions clearly and precisely.
*Happy assisting in the production of small to medium sized engineering products that are supplied to various industries internationally.
*Confident in using small hand tools and basic small machinery.
*Self motivated and happy to work in a repetitive manufacturing environment.
*Used to working with small items / components - perhaps from a previous employment or home hobby perspective.
*Good attention to detail is essential and strong eyesight is a must.
*The work is not overly heavy however there will be some occasions where lifting would be involved.
*A positive "can do" attitude.
