The Role: Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Commercial Property Solicitor, you will:
*Advise on commercial leases, acting for both landlords and tenants in high-value transactions.
*Handle freehold and leasehold sales and acquisitions, often with complex or strategic elements.
*Support on development and planning matters, advising major clients on large-scale projects.
*Act as a trusted advisor to a diverse client base — including investors, developers, landlords and occupiers.
*Lead matters independently while mentoring junior team members and contributing to business development.
What You’ll Bring
*5–10+ years’ PQE in commercial property law, ideally from a well-regarded regional or City firm.
*Proven experience running a caseload of complex commercial property transactions.
*Strong negotiation and drafting skills with a pragmatic, commercial approach.
*Excellent client relationship skills and the ability to manage demanding client portfolios.
*A following or established network is desirable but not essential.
*Proactive mindset with enthusiasm for business development and growing the firm’s offering.
