Job Description:
Reed in Teesside are delighted to be supporting a North Yorkshire based client who are a national leader of tailored solutions across diverse sectors who are seeking a driven and dynamic Senior Account Executive, on a permanent and full-time basis to join their growing Sales team. This role requires travel on a national and international level, so a full clean, UK driving license is required.

As a Senior Account Executive, you will be responsible for taking ownership of national client relationships and play a pivotal role in driving revenue and growth. This is a senior-level commercial role, managing a small team of account managers and reporting directly to the Sales Director.
The successful candidate will not only manage high-value client portfolios but also lead on strategic conversations, business development, and mentoring others in the sales team.
Duties:
*Manage and grow a portfolio of national accounts across multiple industries
*Lead strategic negotiations, proposals, and client presentations
*Act as the senior point of escalation for complex accounts
*Mentor and support your team of account managers, sharing expertise and client strategy insight
*Drive new business opportunities, from lead generation to securing major contracts
*Collaborate internally with operations, design, and fulfilment teams to ensure seamless service delivery
*Monitor account performance against KPIs and profitability targets
*Represent the business at industry events, trade shows, and client meetings nationally and internationally
The successful candidate:
*Extensive experience managing large or complex accounts in a B2B environment
*Strong commercial acumen and proven negotiation skills
*Track record of business development and winning new accounts
*Strategic communicator able to engage with stakeholders at all levels
*Willingness to travel extensively (UK and international)
*Organised, resilient, and capable of managing a varied workload
*Managing a sales team and implementing strategic goals
