SAP Product Owner
Contract: 7 Months
Based: Samlesbury
Hourly Rate: £44.94 PAYE or £ 60.61 Umbrella inside IR35
37 Hours per week – onsite up to 3 days per week
Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a SAP Product Owner to join the AIR Business Systems Competency Centre within BAE Systems in the UK.
In this newly created role, you’ll support a SAP4HANA solution recently deployed across a number of BAE Systems entities and partners. You’ll play a key role in shaping how the product is managed and optimised, working closely with the customer community, IM&T support teams, and third-party IT partners
Skills:
*Proven experience supporting SAP implementations in a similar role
*Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
*Strong understanding of the IM&T/software development lifecycle
*Effective written and verbal communication skills, with attention to clarity and business value
The Job
*Define and prioritise requirements based on customer insight, business value, and technical feasibility
*Collaborate with delivery partners to identify optimal technical solutions that meet customer and business needs
*Ensure incidents and defects are logged, tracked, and managed effectively in line with SLAs
*Review recurring issues to identify knowledge gaps and training needs
*Report on incident and change progress through a consolidated roadmap and product backlog.
*Develop and manage User Stories to assess the impact of proposed changes
