Based: Samlesbury
Hourly Rate: £21.38 PAYE or £28.63 Umbrella inside IR35

Overview
The role involves analysing supplier pricing to ensure value for money, leading cost reduction and affordability initiatives, and maintaining effective supplier risk management and supply chain resilience.
Skills:
*Experience in procurement, supply chain, or a related engineering or commercial environments
*Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a continuous improvement mindset.
*Demonstrated experience managing supplier relationships and negotiating pricing and contract terms
*Excellent communication and collaboration skills with internal and external stakeholders
The Job
*Supports all sourcing and strategic activity for defined suppliers, including the negotiation of pricing and contractual terms and conditions.
*Acts as the main commercial interface for supplier relationships, resolving issues and ensuring supplier performance.
*Leads supplier risk and opportunity management, driving supply chain resilience and cost improvements.
*Prepares reports, data analysis, and presentations to support senior business reviews with suppliers and customers
