Job Description:
One of the most respected names in the Defence industry is looking for a Business Continuity Coordinator to support resilience, incident management, and continuity planning at their Yeovil site.
*Role: Business Continuity Coordinator
*Contract: 6 Months
*Location: Yeovil
*Pay: Up to £26 p/hr (Inside IR35 via Umbrella)
*Working Pattern: 4 days onsite
As a Business Continuity Coordinator, you’ll play a critical role in supporting the organisation’s ability to prepare for, respond to, and recover from incidents.
Key Responsibilities:
*Provide Business Continuity and Incident Management advice in line with company policy and standards
*Support business functions with Business Impact Assessments and Business Continuity Plans
*Maintain and update Incident Management and Emergency Response documentation
*Support and record actions from Business Continuity Working Group meetings
*Develop and maintain Business Continuity training, e-learning, and intranet content
*Maintain the Business Continuity Risk Register and Single Points of Failure (SPOF) records.
This role is perfect for a hands-on, proactive individual who enjoys double-checking processes, engaging with numerous busienss units and helping a critical site stay operational.
Required Skills:
*Experience in Business Continuity and/or Incident Management
*Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
*High level of proficiency in MS Office applications
*Excellent organisation, time management, and data analysis skills
*Experience influencing stakeholders and driving compliance
*Contingency Planning and Crisis Management experience
