Mobile Cleaner/Housekeeper

*Locations: North (Bolton, Wigan, Trafford, Bury, Prestwich, Rochdale), East (Tameside, Stockport, Claytonbrook, Openshaw, Oldham), South (Longsight, Didsbury, Airport, Hough End, Greenheys – Moss Side Area), Central (Newton Heath, Manchester City Centre, Gorton)
*Duration: 3 months (likely to extend)
*Pay: £13.40 per hour PAYE
A Local Authority is seeking four full-time Mobile Cleaners/Housekeepers to join their team, covering various regions including North, East, South, and Central areas. This role is ideal for individuals with prior cleaning experience in medium to large scale organisations who are committed to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
Day-to-day of the role:
*Travel to various sites within your designated region to perform cleaning duties.
*Ensure all areas are cleaned to a high standard, meeting health and safety regulations.
*Handle and maintain cleaning equipment, ensuring safe use and storage.
*Perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, walking, pushing, and handling equipment.
*Adhere to COSHH requirements and safely use cleaning chemicals and equipment.
*Maintain a good attendance and performance record.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Previous cleaning experience in a medium to large scale organisation.
*Good understanding of the English language, both verbal and written.
*Physical fitness to carry out cleaning tasks effectively.
*Knowledge of health and safety practices, particularly around COSHH and safe equipment use.
*Must possess a full UK driving licence and have access to a vehicle with insurance for business purposes.
