Oracle DBA, 8 Month Contract Opportunity, Inside IR35, Hybrid We are seeking an experienced Oracle DBA for a contract role supporting enterprise-level systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Oracle technologies and proven experience in managing complex database environments.
Key Responsibilities *Provide administration and support for Oracle databases, ensuring high availability, performance, and security.
*Implement and manage Oracle RAC, ASM, Data Guard, RMAN, and Grid Infrastructure/Clusterware.
*Perform database cloning, patching, and upgrades for Oracle E-Business Suite R12.
*Optimize database performance and troubleshoot issues using SQL*Plus and PL/SQL.
*Manage backup and recovery strategies using RMAN.
*Support and maintain Oracle WebLogic environments.
*Develop and maintain reporting solutions using OBIEE.
*Work with open-source platforms such as Liferay and Oracle development frameworks including ADF and APEX.
Required Skills & Experience *In-depth knowledge of Oracle Database Architecture (12c).
*Hands-on experience with Oracle RAC, ASM, Data Guard, RMAN, and Grid Infrastructure.
*Strong understanding of E-Business Suite R12 setup and administration.
*Proficiency in SQL*Plus, PL/SQL, and scripting for automation.
*Experience with Oracle WebLogic, OBIEE, and open-source tools like Liferay.
*Familiarity with Oracle ADF and APEX development frameworks.
