Job Description:
My client, a growing media SME based in Manchester, is looking for an experienced People Partner to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive HR professional to support the business by shaping and delivering people strategies, while also managing day-to-day HR operations.
The ideal candidate will have broad, all-round HR experience, covering employee relations, performance management, talent acquisition, learning and development, and HR operations. You will act as a trusted advisor to leadership, providing strategic guidance while also being hands-on to deliver practical solutions. A proactive, commercially aware approach and the ability to influence at all levels of the business are key.
Key Responsibilities:
*Partner with managers and teams, providing pragmatic HR advice and guidance.
*Lead recruitment, onboarding, and retention initiatives to attract and retain top talent.
*Support performance management, succession planning, and employee engagement initiatives.
*Ensure compliance with employment law, HR policies, and best practices.
*Drive learning and development initiatives to build capability across the business.
*Champion a positive workplace culture, promoting diversity, inclusion, and wellbeing.
Requirements:
*Proven experience as a People Partner or HR Business Partner in a fast-paced environment, ideally within an SME or creative sector.
*Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
*Excellent interpersonal, influencing, and communication skills.
*Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and deliver practical solutions.
*CIPD qualification preferred but not essential.
