Finance Assistant
Location: Sutton, Surrey
Salary: £20,535.91?- £23,427.62 per annum
Hours: 25 hours per week
Working Pattern: Monday–Friday, 9:30am–2:30pm
Are you highly organised, detail-oriented, and looking for a rewarding role in finance and compliance? We are seeking a Finance Assistant to join a busy central team supporting multiple sites across London and the South East.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in managing insurance and compliance processes, ensuring smooth administration and accurate record-keeping. You’ll act as the main point of contact for insurance matters and deputise for the Finance Business Manager when required.
What You’ll Be Doing
*Oversee insurance administration, including renewals, claims, and maintaining accurate registers.
*Liaise with internal teams and external partners to ensure coverage for excursions, contractors, and events.
*Ensure compliance and accuracy across insurance records for vehicles, equipment, and engineering.
*Support staff training and contribute to process improvements.
*Stay informed on industry updates and best practices.
What We’re Looking For
*GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths (Grade C/4 or above).
*Experience in a finance or administrative role.
*Understanding of financial processes and compliance requirements.
*Strong organisational and time-management skills.
*Professional, reliable, and discreet approach.
