Contract: Long-term with potential for permanent placement
Are you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of children and young people with Profound, Severe, and Complex Needs? This is an exciting opportunity to join a brand-new, purpose-built SEND school designed to provide exceptional education and care for pupils aged 3–19 years.
About the School
*Caters for 342 pupils with Profound, Severe, and Complex Needs (PSCN).
*Hosts a Multi-Agency Support Hub, bringing together NHS professionals, paediatricians, therapists, nursing services, social services, and portage colleagues under one roof.
*State-of-the-art facilities include:
*Specialist teaching spaces for art, science, music, and drama
*A 3-court sports hall
*Medical and therapy areas such as a hydrotherapy pool, physiotherapy rooms, and sensory spaces
*A fully equipped Life Skills house
Curriculum
The school offers a personalised 3-tier curriculum across three distinct zones:
*EYFS & KS1
*KS2 & KS3
*14–19 provision
Each zone is designed to create a safe, secure, and stimulating environment while ensuring appropriate challenge for outstanding progress.
The Role
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic teacher to join our team from September 2026. This is a long-term role with the potential to become permanent. You will:
*Deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual needs
*Work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team
*Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment
*Support pupils in achieving their full potential
Ideal Candidate
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
*Experience working with pupils with SEND (Profound, Severe, or Complex Needs)
*Strong communication and teamwork skills
*A commitment to personalised learning and holistic development
