REED Business Support are pleased to be working with one of Scotland’s Growing Manufacturers, who are looking to recruit a ’Production Assistant’ on a Temporary Contract. As one of the team you’ll play a key part in ensuring the smooth running of our production process. Your work will directly contribute to maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and quality for our products. This is a hands-on role in a friendly, supportive environment where attention to detail and reliability are valued.

Location: East Lothian
Pay Rate: £12.60 per hour
Hours: Approximately 24 hours per week (3–4 days)
Shift Pattern: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Key Responsibilities:
*Clean and sanitize products to meet strict hygiene requirements.
*Inspect products for damage or defects before processing.
*Operate washing equipment safely and efficiently.
*Maintain a clean and organized work area.
*Follow all health and safety guidelines.
Requirements:
*Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
*Strong attention to detail.
*Physical ability to stand for long periods and handle repetitive tasks.
*Previous experience in a similar role is an advantage but not essential—full training provided.
