Job Description:
The Company
Our client is a market leading engineering company. Due to growth, they are now looking to recruit a HGV Driver.
The Role
*Is a permanent role with an immediate start.
*Operating large articulated lorries for long-haul transport.
*Delivering and collecting the company’s products across the UK.
*Route planning.
*Ensuring load safety.
*Supervising loading/unloading.
*Vehicle checks and coordinating deliveries.
*Includes on average 9 overnights per month.
The Person
*Must have Class 1 Driving Licence-Category C+E, Driver CPC and digital tacho card.
*Experience working within HGV driving role.
*Strong attention to detail, ensure trailers are loaded safely and securely.
*Complete daily defect sheets.
*Comply with the requirements of legislation and operating procedures relating to the use of drivers hours and working time directive.
*Follow all company operational procedures.
*Excellent customer service skills.
