Learning & Development Specialist (Contract)
Are you passionate about creating impactful learning experiences? Our client is seeking a dynamic Learning & Development Specialist to join their team on a short-term contract. In this role, you’ll deliver essential training programs for managers and design additional courses that build capability and confidence across the organisation. Your expertise will directly influence how leaders communicate, manage change, and support their teams—making a real difference where it matters most.
Contract Duration: January – March
Location: [On-site / Hybrid / Remote]
Reporting to: Head of Organisational Capability
What You’ll Do
*Deliver engaging mandatory training programs, including:
*Managers’ Mental Health
*Communicating Change
*People Manager Modules
*Facilitate interactive sessions (virtual and/or in-person) that inspire participation and learning.
*Design and develop new training courses to meet evolving business needs.
*Create online content to support virtual and blended learning programs.
*Coordinate delivery schedules, manage attendance, and track progress.
*Gather feedback and report on training effectiveness.
What We’re Looking For
*Exceptional facilitation and communication skills.
*Proven experience delivering leadership development, mental health awareness, and change management training.
*Ability to design fresh, engaging courses using modern instructional design principles.
*Proficiency with digital tools for virtual training (MS Teams, Zoom, LMS platforms).
*Strong understanding of adult learning principles and blended learning approaches.
Qualifications
*Degree in HR, Education, or related field (or equivalent experience).
*Professional certifications in L&D (e.g., CIPD, ATD) preferred.
