EYFS Teaching Assistant – Rural Lancaster School
*Job Type: Full-time (5.5 hours per day)

*Salary: £14.63 per hour

We are seeking an EYFS Teaching Assistant to join our team at a local school in a quiet village just outside Lancaster. This role offers an immediate start, working hours from 8:45am to 3:15pm, Monday to Friday.
Day-to-day of the role:
*Support the delivery of the EYFS curriculum within a reception or EYFS setting.
*Utilise knowledge of continuous provision to enhance learning.
*Ability to teach phonics / knowledge of phonics schemes
*Good understanding of the EYFS framework and development matters
*Use ICT tools effectively to record and monitor children’s progress.
*Engage with children to facilitate their academic and social development.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Experience working in a reception or EYFS setting is desirable.
*Strong knowledge of continuous provision and its impact on learning.
*Good understanding of the EYFS framework and development matters.
*Proficiency in using ICT to record and monitor educational progress.
*Flexible and adaptable approach to work
