Clinical Negligence Solicitor
Location: High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire (hybrid working available)
Salary: Competitive salary + benefits (dependent on experience 2–5 PQE)

Our client is a respected and growing legal team in High Wycombe specialising in clinical and medical negligence. It provides high-quality advocacy and client care across the full lifecycle of medical negligence claims and are expanding its team to support a growing caseload.

Key responsibilities
*Run your own clinical negligence files from instruction to conclusion with minimal supervision
*Investigate claims, draft pleadings, manage disclosure and support litigation strategy
*Conduct client interviews, manage medical evidence, instruct counsel and negotiate settlements
*Meet realistic billing targets and undertake administrative typing and file management tasks
*Keep up to date with case law, fixed-cost rules and pre-action protocols in clinical negligence
Your requirements
*2–5 years’ PQE working in clinical/medical negligence
*Proven ability to manage a varied caseload independently or with light supervision
*Experience handling claims valued under £25,000 and familiarity with pre-action protocols
*Excellent client-facing skills, communication, organisation and prioritisation
*Comfortable in a targets-driven environment and a proactive team player
