Job Description:
Hybrid – minimum 1 day per week in the office in London and flexibility for more office days when required.
We are seeking a proactive and commercially focused HR Advisor who is ready to step up into a broader HR Business Partner-style remit. This is an operational role supporting a fast-paced and dynamic organisation. Working closely with the HR Business Partner and the Head of HR, you will manage day-to-day HR operations, deliver training, support manager capability, and contribute to the development and implementation of HR procedures and policies.
This position is ideal for an HR Advisor with strong UK experience who is looking to expand their remit across other jurisdictions and gain broader HR exposure within a high-growth, agile business.
Operational HR Support*Provide advisory support across the full employee lifecycle, including performance management, employee relations, absence management, probation, and policy interpretation.
*Support the HRBP with complex cases and play an active role in investigations where required.
*Assist with drafting, updating, and implementing HR policies and procedures.
Manager Development & Training*Deliver training to managers on HR processes, performance management, and people development.
*Coach managers to build capability and drive a consistent people approach across the business.
*Work closely with managers to identify development needs within their teams.
Employee Engagement & Culture
Partner with managers to promote a positive, high-performance culture.
*Assist in employee surveys, follow-up action planning, and engagement initiatives.
International HR Support*Provide UK HR expertise while gradually supporting employees in other jurisdictions.
*Work with the HRBP and external advisors to ensure compliance with local employment practices.
Projects & Continuous Improvement*Contribute to HR projects focused on process improvement, employee experience, and organisational development.
*Support implementation of new HR systems, policies, and tools.
Compliance & Reporting*Ensure accurate HR data and support reporting needs.
*Maintain up-to-date knowledge of UK employment law and track HR regulatory changes.
Required Experience & Qualifications*Minimum 5 years’ HR experience, including 3+ years as an HR Advisor.
*CIPD Level 5 essential.
*Must speak and write English to a bilingual standard.
*Strong, demonstrable experience within fast-moving, commercial environments such as FMCG, hospitality, or direct-to-consumer sectors.
*Proven ability to work in a flexible environment where priorities can shift rapidly.
*Solid practical experience advising on UK employment law and HR best practice.
*International HR exposure is beneficial but not essential.
*FMCG background or similar an advantage
