Role: Post Completion Assistant
Salary: £23,000 - £25,000
Location: Leeds City Centre, West Yorkshire
Contract: Full time, permanent
An opportunity has arisen for a Post-Completion Assistant to join a busy, central office on a full-time basis. This position supports the residential and new-build property teams, handling a broad mix of post-completion work including submitting payments, registering new properties, and dealing with Land Registry requisitions. The successful candidate will be expected to work proactively and manage tasks with minimal supervision.
We are looking for someone who is fast, accurate, and able to follow instructions carefully while maintaining a high workload. A positive attitude and willingness to work collaboratively are essential.
Key Responsibilities *
Managing files from completion through to archiving.
*
Preparing and submitting AP1, FR1, TR1 and other Land Registry applications within priority deadlines.
*
Responding to Land Registry requisitions within required timescales.
*
Ensuring charges and related transactions are correctly registered.
*
Making sure all financial aspects of each file are fully reconciled with a zero balance.
*
Issuing completed registrations and related documents to clients and/or lenders.
*
Escalating any matters that may pose a risk of complaint, lender-panel issues, or potential negligence.
*
Keeping the case management system updated in line with internal procedures.
*
Handling telephone queries or taking accurate messages for colleagues.
Essential Skills *
Strong keyboard and administrative skills.
*
Good literacy and numeracy.
*
High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
*
Confident, customer-friendly communication.
*
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
*
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise.
*
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
*
A supportive team player.
Experience Required *At least 12 months’ experience in a similar fast-paced post-completion or administrative role.
