One-to-One Teaching Assistant – Haslingden, Lancashire
Start Date: January 2026 | Full-time until July 2026 | Daily Rate: £80–£90
Are you a passionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding one-to-one support role? Rotherwood Education is seeking an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a supportive and well-established secondary school in Haslingden. You will be working closely with a Year 11 pupil, making a real difference in their learning journey.

Key Responsibilities:
*Provide one-to-one support for a Year 11 pupil, including assisting with personal care if required
*Support learning in line with the pupil’s individual needs and educational plan
*Collaborate with teachers and colleagues to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
*Contribute to wider school initiatives and departmental activities
*Adhere to safeguarding policies and promote student wellbeing
What We’re Looking For:
*Qualified Teaching Assistant (Level 2 or 3, or equivalent)
*Experience working with pupils with Muscular Dystrophy and familiarity with hoist use and personal care is highly beneficial
*Excellent behaviour management and communication skills
*Commitment to inspiring young people and improving educational outcomes for all learners
