CRA Consulting are delighted to be working with a respected, award-winning law firm in Sheffield as they look to recruit an Estate Administration Paralegal to join their expanding Private Client Department. Role Overview
In this role, you will support the lead lawyer with the full administration of estates, helping clients through what is often a sensitive and emotional process. You will manage detailed casework, maintain high professional standards, and play a key part in ensuring matters progress smoothly from initial instruction through to finalisation.

Key Responsibilities
*Supporting a specialised caseload within the Estate Administration team
*Providing a first-class, empathetic client experience
*Working efficiently and commercially to support positive outcomes
*Collaborating effectively with colleagues across the department
*Accurately recording time in line with firm procedures

Department-Specific Duties
*Undertaking necessary searches as part of estate administration
*Identifying and collating all assets and liabilities of the deceased
*Identifying beneficiaries and ensuring correct distribution
*Assisting with Probate applications and Inheritance Tax requirements (where applicable)
*Managing the collection of estate assets and payment of liabilities
*Coordinating legacy payments and interim distributions
*Preparing accurate estate accounts
*Assisting with concluding estate administration matters
*Supporting the administration of clients’ affairs under LPAs and Court of Protection matters

To excel in this position, you will:
*Possess strong attention to detail and organisational ability
*Demonstrate a genuine interest in Private Client work, particularly estate administration
*Communicate empathetically and professionally with clients
*Work confidently both independently and as part of a supportive team
