Block Manager – Central London
Are you an organised, people-focused, property-savvy professional?
We’re looking for an experienced Block Manager to join a dynamic and supportive team in London. If you take pride in keeping buildings running smoothly and clients happy, this is the role for you.
About the Role:
You’ll be responsible for a well-managed, close-knit portfolio of residential blocks — all within walking distance (no long commutes between sites!). From day-to-day operations to long-term planning, you’ll ensure your properties are compliant, well-maintained, and efficiently managed.
Key Responsibilities:
*Build and maintain strong relationships with leaseholders and freeholders
*Coordinate contractors and oversee maintenance works
*Ensure full compliance with health & safety regulations
*Lead on Section 20 projects and budget planning
*Chair AGMs and deliver clear, proactive communication
What We’re Looking For:
*Minimum 2 years’ experience in residential block management
*Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
*Confident managing contractors and multiple projects
*Strong financial awareness and experience with service charge budgets
*IRPM qualification (or working towards it) – ARMA members welcome
