Facilities Officer – Peterborough
Salary: Competitive
Contract: Full-time, Possibly Temp to Perm or Straight Permanent - to be confirmed

Reed Recruitment is working with a leading organisation to recruit a Facilities Officer to join their dynamic Property Team in Peterborough. This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive, systems-savvy professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys being the go-to person for operational support.
About the Role
As a Facilities Officer, you’ll play a key role in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations across the property function. Reporting to the Head of Housing and Property Management, you’ll be the backbone of the team. managing tasks, coordinating contractors and supporting colleagues both in the office and across the property portfolio.
Your responsibilities will include:
*Managing property-related tasks using ServiceNow and Business Central (experience in at least one is essential, ideally both).
*Raising purchase orders, processing invoices and maintaining accurate financial records.
*Distributing and actioning jobs logged on ServiceNow, ensuring timely resolution.
*Assisting the property team and office staff with operational queries.
*Coordinating contractors and monitoring maintenance schedules.
*Supporting reception duties and general office administration when required.
What We’re Looking For
*Strong technical and systems skills – confident using ServiceNow, Business Central or similar platforms.
*Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively.
*A proactive team player who can work independently and handle multiple priorities.
*Strong communication skills and resilience, you’ll be working with senior stakeholders, including a new CEO.
*Previous experience in facilities, property administration or a similar role.
